                          WE GATHER

GATHERING SONG

CALL TO WORSHIP – Teresa Board

                    We come today not to search for a faraway God, 

               but to awaken to the sacred love that is already near. 

                 The God who gives life and breath to all things

                is moving among us, within us, and all around us.

                In every act of love, in every longing for justice, in every moment of beauty, courage, and compassion,

                     God is calling us deeper into connection.

                 We are not strangers to the sacred. We are not alone in the world.

                We live and move and have our being in God. 

                 So let us open our hearts, our minds, and our lives to the presence that has been with us along.

                Here, now, together- may we become more awake to love. AMEN!
