**People:** Give us courage to see clearly.

**Leader:** The prophets remind us that faith is more than what we say we believe.
It is revealed in what we build, what we tolerate, and how we treat one another.

**People:** Give us wisdom to examine our lives and our world.

**Leader:** When something has fallen out of alignment with justice, compassion, and love,
God calls us not to look away, but to make it right.

**People:** Give us courage to change what needs to be changed.

**Leader:** So let us listen deeply, look honestly, and open ourselves to the possibility of transformation.

**ALL:** May justice be our measure, love be our guide, and hope lead us forward.
