Stephen Ministry

Volunteer Stephen Ministers complete 50 hours of training to develop their caregiving skills.  After training, they are assigned to a one-to-one caring ministry with a member of our congregation/community or volunteer in ministry to different groups (such as RAPP) within our community (averaging approximately 1 hour each week).  After the training, Stephen Ministers also attend one supervision group each month (approximately 2 hours) to continue developing their skills through special topics/speakers and workshops and maintain accountability in their caregiving.
