Member Care Ministry

Caring for our membership is the main goal of this ministry.
We also work to better involve our membership, so we get to know each other better. 
Your ideas are welcome and needed.

Here are some of the ways you can get involved in Member Care. Be sure to fill out the form at the bottom to let us know how you want to serve.

Serve on Member Care Ministry (We want to develop new ideas to better serve this congregation.  Your input is needed!)

Greeters (Greet people as the enter the building on Sundays serve on a team 4 months of the year)

Greeter Captain (Organizes and leads a team of greeters)

Welcome Center (Greet & answer questions--one Sunday a month)

We Care Network (Prepare and donate food for folks of the church in times of need.)  (Rotating schedule)

Overall We Care Coordinator (Coordinates the program for the year)

Monthly We Care Coordinator  (Coordinates one month)

Caring Callers—Make “caring” phone calls to members that have missed 3 consecutive Sundays.  (Once a week for a month)

Contact Callers---Phone the congregation (no more than once a month) about a church event.  You are provided one page from the directory and a script for your calls.

Connecting Link (Connecting Links “adopt” new members when they join the church.  This entails greeting and introducing the new members and giving a small welcome gift along, with New Covenant Coffee mugs)

Prayer Partner (Covenant to pray over prayer requests listed in the bulletin and newsletter)

 Card Ministry (Send cards of encouragement)
