You are most welcome to study and join in
fellowship with any class.
The Stars: Teacher – Tim Pool. Study, Together, And, Renew Spiritually. This class also uses the “Present Word” study guide mentioned above. Tim Pool leads these fun loving adults (40’s and up) in a lively discussion of the Bible. Join them as they laugh, learn, share and grow stronger as Christians. (Montessori Area) Founders Class: Teacher - Page Dobson (Carlyle Yates, Substitute). The Present Word study is discussed by this wonderful group of 60-plus Christians. They enjoy studying the Bible together and sharing their beliefs. These mature Christians have a lot of Bible knowledge to share. They also offer each other great support. Come, learn, share and grow. (Founders Classroom) Searchers: Teacher - David Terrell. This group loves a lively discussion! The studies vary in this class, usually following a theme for several weeks. Class material is always grounded in the Bible. Searchers lend support to each other in times of need and joy. They love to have parties and get-togethers. There is a wide range of ages represented. (Fellowship Hall) Seekers: Teachers vary. The Seekers are a very social minded group. Once a month they do local outreach at The Food Bank (families welcome). They frequently have outings and get-togethers. Their study material varies, but the Bible is always the central focus. Participants age range from 30-50, some with children and some without. (Montessori Area) Young Adult Class: Teacher – Mary Beth Becker and Cindi Meyer. This class is made up of interesting 20 something singles. They enjoy studying the Bible together. (Room off Sanctuary) Treasure Seekers: Teachers-Sylvia & Andy Taussig. This newly formed group gathers in the Bridal Room for Bible discussions. Renaissance: (New Class Summer of 2007) Various Teachers. “Sharing the Joy of Jesus” a study of Philippians is their course of study for the fall. Grow with this small intimate group as they study the “Word of God”. (Parlor) NCCC BIBLE STUDY OPPORTUNITIES Men’s Bible Study: Starting January 2008 our Men’s Bible Study group will reconvene. They meet Thursday evenings at 7pm in the Founders classroom. This group is all about growing as Christian, mentoring and supporting one another. Bible Study Groups: Throughout the year new Bible Study groups begin. Course of study follows a Bible format. Check our calendar for current day and night studies. Women’s Bible Study: Bible studies designed with Women in mind meet weekly for in-depth Bible Study. Many use “Beth Moore” curriculum---offering room for learning, studying and sharing. Contact Jane at 722-7445 for specific times and current course of study. 7am Wednesday Bible Study: Led by our Senior Minister, Tim Pool. The Biblical material for this study group changes every three months. They meet in at the church in the Conference Room. Throughout the year there are other opportunities to Study and Learn. These take the form of Seminars, Lectures, Short Term Studies and additional Bible Study Groups. Check out our calendar to see what is currently happening. Everyone is welcome!
