55+ Luncheon and Fellowship

Meeting at 11:45 on the first Thursday of each month throughout the year, this group (whose actual ages vary greatly on each side of the 55 year mark) celebrates their time together with a potluck lunch and special speakers and programs.  From informative topics (like “Celebrate Oklahoma” with Joan Hess of the Oklahoma Centennial Commission), educational speakers (such as “Stroke Awareness” with Mary Pinzon, RN), and literary reviews (from Bob Burke and Gean B. Atkinson) to seasonal celebrations (one of our favorites—a Christmas program with the PC North High School Show Choir), each time we gather everyone is welcome and we come away having enlarged our experiences.  If it is your birthday month, you even get to go to the front of the line at the “best potluck buffet in OKC” (named by one of our favorite speakers, author/attorney Bob Burke.)  Come join us any time!
